Instructor
Ms. Jessica Gronberg is beginning her 23rd year in education and her sixth year at Hawkes Bluff Elementary School. Throughout her career, she has taught Band, Chorus, and AP Music Theory at The Sagemont School, Pembroke Pines Charter High School, West Miami Middle School, and L.A. Ainger Middle School.
Ms. Gronberg is a proud graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with emphasis in vocal performance and flute. Her musical training includes flute study.
In addition to her work in schools, Ms. Gronberg shares her passion for the performing arts by teaching musical theatre classes at Dancer’s Gallery in Cooper City, Florida.
Recognized for her excellence in education, Ms. Gronberg was named Hawkes Bluff Elementary’s 2023 Teacher of the Year. She was also a Quarterfinalist for the Grammy Music Educator of the Year Award in 2023 and 2024 and a Legacy Applicant. Previously, she was named Teacher of the Year at The Sagemont School and was a Top 10 Finalist for the 2019 Nobel Teacher of the Year Award.
An active guest conductor, clinician, performer, private instructor, and adjudicator, Ms. Gronberg remains dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of music and performance in her students.
