Our CAST Company Program has been around since 1996, providing exceptional, well-rounded training and a second home for our dancers.

Our companies have performed at many local, and non-local events including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Land Shark Stadium for the Marlins games, Half Time Shows for the Miami Heat and Dolphins, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, New York, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, and many more exciting destinations.
Although showcasing our award-winning choreography and dancers is important to us, our team is much more than that.

It is important to us at Dancer's Gallery that we teach the next generation valuable life skills to enrich their futures. Such as perseverance, kindness, teamwork, respect, self-discipline, and a growth mindset. Our dance family has a bond like no other, from our fantastic dance parents who go above and beyond for our dance studio to our instructors who put in many hours of work for the growth of their students. We strive for excellence and encourage our dancers to do the same. Our competition team is more than just collecting trophies and pins. It's about being better human beings while being well-rounded with meticulous training by the best teachers in the industry.

The placement of students in our dance company is the decision of a panel of judges and the director of our school. Once selected, they are separated into groups based on age and level. CAST members must devote at least 10 hours of training a week as well as extra rehearsals and intensives to prepare them for upcoming competitions and local community and artistic performances. Students interested in auditioning for any of the companies should contact the studio for more information about the audition process.

Who is eligible to audition?
We accept ages 7 – 18 years old. No dance experience is necessary.

What to bring and or wear to auditions?
Girls attire: Black leotard and pink tights (shorts are optional)
Boys attire: White t-shirt and black dance pants
Bring ballet shoes, jazz shoes, turners, tap shoes in a small bag, and a bottle of water. Hair should always be in a secure proper ballet bun and no loose jewelry. A headshot and resume are required.

What should I expect?
The first portion of auditions will be ballet structured, with full barre work, center, and across the floor. After ballet, they are expected to learn a combination of any dance style, jazz, contemporary, ballroom. Lastly, there is an improvisation portion where each dancer will freestyle and show us their natural talents and how they shine.

Are returning members guaranteed a spot?
No member has a guaranteed spot on CAST, and every member must audition. There are particular circumstances where new or returning members may not be able to attend the annual auditions. However, they do go through a probationary period with the team after being evaluated by our teachers.

Are scholarships offered?
Scholarships are offered to hand-selected students under certain circumstances. The dancer interested must have a meeting with the studio owner and provide them with an essay regarding why they should be approved for a scholarship. Once the meeting is conducted, the studio owner will decide how the student can earn their scholarships, such as volunteer work or class assistance.

How much commitment is required from CAST members?
Cast Members are required to take 8 hours of classes a week including, Acro, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Technique, two ballet classes, and 2 hours of choreography. Any other styles are optional, but these classes are mandatory to participate in the CAST Company. Hip hop company is only required one hip hop technique class and one choreography classes a week. Any absences of performances or competitions must be communicated with the studio director BEFORE the season begins.
