Instructor
Hellevi Woodman is a professional entertainer, dancer and aerialist with over 30 years of international experience in the performing arts and show business. She began her career as a classical ballet dancer with Ballet Teresa Carreño in Venezuela and transitioned to aerial silks in 2003—when the art form was just beginning to emerge into the spotlight.
Her career has spanned opera houses, cruise ships, circuses, casinos, and world stages, including her headlining role as the illusionist Madame Houdini. At Dancers Gallery, she brings this rich experience into her aerial silk classes, emphasizing safety, technique, artistry, and inner/outer awareness at every level.
Hellevi’s instruction is grounded in her background in yoga, meditation, and breathwork, creating a holistic space where students can thrive. She is also a proud member of the UNESCO International Dance Council, a dedicated animal welfare advocate, and a volunteer with the ASPCA’s National Response Team.
“I am passionate about guiding my students to find their strength, confidence, and unique expressions—on and off the silks.”
