Gustavo Ribeiro, born and raised in Brazil, is recognized internationally as a principal guest artist, choreographer, teacher, coach, and director.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has captivated audiences across Brazil, Canada, Europe, the United States, and Asia, performing with prestigious companies including The Washington Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, and Miami City Ballet. His artistry has also been showcased as a Principal Guest Artist with Oregon Ballet Theatre, New Jersey Ballet, Boca Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Kiel Ballet, and Unblanche Ballet.

His repertoire includes leading roles in iconic works such as Petite Mort, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Diamonds, Theme and Variations, Four Temperaments, and Who Cares?, among many others by master choreographers including George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Jiří Kylián, and Twyla Tharp.

As a choreographer, Ribeiro has created works for Kansas City Ballet and Orlando Ballet, earning recognition for his creativity and vision. He is certified in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and The Washington Ballet’s teacher training program.

Dedicated to shaping future generations, Gustavo has served as a faculty member and guest teacher for institutions such as Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, Oregon Ballet Theatre School, Kansas City Ballet School, Orlando Ballet School and Colorado Ballet School. His students have excelled at elite international competitions including the Prix de Lausanne, Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), and Universal Ballet Competition (UBC), where he also serves as a master teacher, judge, and the official representative of UBC in Brazil.

In addition to his performing and teaching career, Gustavo is the Founder and Director of the Grande Prêmio Internacional de Dança, a distinguished international competition in Brazil that promotes artistic excellence, education, inclusion, and global opportunities for young dancers.
