Instructor/CAST Company Administrator
Veronica Alvarez is a young and passionate dancer, born and raised in sunny South Florida. Her love of dance and music started at a very young age. Her parents enrolled her for her first combo class at Dancer’s Gallery at the age of 2.
She continued to experiment with many different styles of dance. At the age of 11, Veronica discovered her ever loving passion for the style of hip-hop and performing. Immediately the next season, she committed to the Dancer’s Gallery CAST Team full time. She was able to spend 4 years competing, performing, and training nonstop to better her craft. 2018 will, unfortunately, be her last year able to compete and perform with her CAST team, putting a close on her chapter of 4 years on the team. Veronica has been lucky enough to be recruited to not only dance with upcoming Miami artist Azarelle, but she also worked as a management assistant for It’sAGeLoveThing Productions for over a year. Veronica has been working with Revolution National Dance Competition for 3 years.
As much as she loves dancing, teaching dance is one of Veronica’s biggest passions that she hopes to continue for many years to come. Veronica not only grew up watching her parents work in the teaching industry, but she has over 5 years of personal experience teaching on her own and assisting amazing choreographers. After teaching at Dancers Gallery for over 2 years, she continues to fall in love with the progress and growth her students make each class.
She currently is enrolled at Broward College and soon will transfer to FIU to study her major of Dietetics. After graduation, some of her many goals include, following her dream of performing on cruise lines, managing her own dance company, and applying her major to training professional athletes.
