Heather De Santino is a Philadelphia native who moved to NYC at age 17 to pursue her career as a professional dancer. Heather is proficient in all genres of dance and is extensively trained by Tracie Stanfield, Sheila Barker, Wes Veldink and Joe Lanteri. Heather grew up traveling and training with Tremaine Dance Conventions as an assistant for Joe Tremaine, Desiree Robbins, Doug Caldwell and Liz Imperio. After 13 years of performing, teaching and choreographing in NYC and the tri-state area, Heather relocated to Miami, Florida where she combined her dance career with her passion for Nutrition. As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and the proud creator and owner of Appetite For DANCE, Heather’s business is dedicated to inspiring, motivating and supporting healthy lifestyle choices for dancers while also promoting positive body image and eating disorder awareness. In addition to teaching and choreographing at various studios all over Florida, Heather speaks on behalf of Appetite For DANCE to dancers, teachers and studio owners. Recent performance credits include Telemundo’s “Gran Oportunid” with the Miami All-Stars under the direction of Manny Castro and choreographer for “Baby I’m A Queen” and “Benadryl” for iPhone X promo artist, Sofi Tukker. Heather has taught and choreographed all over the tri-state area and South Florida and has been awarded top choreography honors on a regional and national level. Heather travels around the country as a judge with Revolution Talent Competition & Imagine Dance Challenge under the Star Dance Alliance company and can be seen judging on episodes of “Dance Moms.”
