Dear DG Families,
The last hours have been a difficult period of uncertainty as information seemed to pour in almost overwhelmingly about COVID-19 procedures and decisions nationwide. At our studio, the health and safety of our community – staff, teachers, students and families – are our most important priorities, and to that end we have determined that is in the best interest of our community to temporarily suspend all classes and day camps for the week of March 16-21. If you have already signed up for a camp day next week a credit will appear on your account and a full refund will be issued upon request.
We consider ourselves fortunate to only be missing one week of class as we roll into our scheduled Spring Break March 22-28.
We will be resuming regular classes on Monday, March 30th. If anything changes with that timeline, you will be the first to know.
We want to continue to provide excellent service and have aligned some exciting resources for you:
We have partnered with CLI studios to offer some amazing online classes from choreographers and dance teachers like Alison Holker, Twitch, Misha Gabriel & Alex Wong to name a few … plus much more! A live feed will from 6pm to 9pm will be available for some amazing classes for your dancers.
We will record some DG specific courses by our wonderful dance teachers to be offered online by levels for select classes. We will also be sending out recital dance information so that your dancer can practice during the break. Please be on the lookout for forthcoming information on how to access the resources. We hope you enjoy and appreciate our quality program throughout this extended break.
We also want to inform you that we have been in contact with recital & competition vendors and venues and our recital plans remain unchanged. We will continue to monitor the situation, and should other changes to our season be needed we will update you accordingly.
As always, but especially now, we greatly appreciate your support.
